Exploring Ecosystems

Last week we began studying rainforest and desert ecosystems.  Click here to go to National Geographic Kids website.  Research an animal and post details that you find about your animal's ecosystem.  This can be what they eat (prey), what eats them (predators), a description of their habitat, etc.  Post your findings by Friday, Feb. 25.

what i learned about is that pandas have an endangered spieces habitat. what they have in commin with us is that they have there bottom hands to use for grabing bamboo. in there ecosystem is that people are taking giant pandas land. if they don`t have any bamboo they will starve. Also theres only 1,000 pandas in the world.

Cheetahs can run up to 60 even 70 miles an hour and the adults way from 86 to 143 pounds. After cheetahs chase their prey a cheetah needs half an hour to catch its breath before it can eat.
Female cheetahs usually bear three to five cubs in a litter.Cheetahs live and hunt mainly in open grasslands and bushy areas in parts of Africa and the Middle East.A cheetah's head and body grow to 44 to 53 inches long. Its tail, fully grown, measures 26 to 33 inches and long.Cheetah cubs stay with their mother until they are 12 to 20 months old.
